Is bread flour for breadmachines okay to use for wheat free baking?
Short answer = NO.
Bread flour for breadmaking machines is no different from bread flour for hand baking, it contains wheat, so if you have a wheat allergy, intolerance or celiac disease then it should not be used.
There are many alternative flours available that can be made into bread, rolls, cakes etc, although none will perfectly reproduce results the same as wheat flour. You will also need to follow a specific gluten free bread recipe for your machine.
Our alternative flours page gives information about non-wheat flours, and we have a page listing flours which must be avoided as they contain wheat or gluten.
